My IBS Journey

Over 7 years ago, when travelling to Japan and celebrating travel and food with my now Husband, I was struck down with gastroenteritis, followed by years of pain, bloating, constipation, nausea and flatulence. During those few years, I was at University completing my studies in Nutrition and Dietetics and was very overwhelmed by research and placement. Combine stress with the ongoing digestive discomfort I was experiencing almost on a daily basis, a GP visit, and hello IBS.

After my clinical diagnosis of IBS and completion of the Low FOMDAP Diet, I am now living with absolute confidence in my food choices and my lifestyle, and I rarely have and IBS flare up!

How did I do this? I followed the processes and phases of the Low Fodmap Diet, I made myself and my health a priority. You can too with the Beat The Bloat Program.
